Whilst the Ranges remain closed due to COVID-19 lock down we are taking the opportunity to update our website. Our new site can be found using the following link www.addiscomberifleclub.org

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister it is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that Addiscombe Rifle Club and its facilities will be closed as of Monday 23rd March. The initial period of closure will be for three months, but this will be reviewed by the committee on a week to week basis. We understand that this is disappointing to the club members so please bear with us. We thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time.

Wishing you all well.

The Committee

Addiscombe Rifle Club has been based in Croydon since 1907. You will find a warm welcome to our range which is set in a very pleasant woodland area close to East Croydon Station. The club has  members of all standards from representative shooters to beginners and welcomes new members, whether as an established shooter, or as a newcomer to the sport. Prospective members wishing to join the Smallbore section should come along on a Wednesday evening from 8pm. Prospective members wishing to join the Airgun section should come along on a Thursday evening from7:30pm.

Today the Club operates shooting grounds with two outdoor ranges both with covered shooting  positions, the first has 25 yard, 50 meter and 100 yards range lengths, used for .22LR Target and Lightweight Sport Rifles. The second range with its own separate    clubhouse has 20 yard, 20 meter, 25 yard and 50 yard lengths used for Air Gun, .22LR and Lightweight Sport Rifles. Inside the main Clubhouse there is a  20 yard range for Air Gun and a .177 air pistol and air rifle 10 meter range.

The Club runs and takes part in  a number of competitions in all the disciplines throughout the year with current scores and placings available through the members area of this site.

Full members are able to use their own .177 & .22 Air Gun or .22LR Target or Lightweight Sport Rifles (subject to confirmation of a current firearms certificate where necessary). The Club does have a small selection of Club equipment for use by beginners and probationary members, however these are only available for use   under the supervision of a suitably qualified club coach or a full member.
